Well it is school time again. Last week I signed up for Microeconomics. It is a "Winter-Mester" course, so it is fast paced. So far I am keeping up and just took the first of 4 tests.

We are going to visit the ice sculpture exhibit at the Gaylord in Grapevine this afternoon. I'll see if I can post some pictures later.

Michael is out of kindergarten on Christmas break and really looking forward to Christmas. He has a "TON" of presents and is very anxious to get to unwrapping them. This year, you can tell he is growing up. He is much more concerned than previous years with what he (and we) are getting other people. That is a good thing.

We also heard that GrandDad is going to be able to make the trip from Georgia to spend Christmas with us.

This should be another fantastic Christmas!

I finished Calculus II with an A on the test and the course tonight! Yippeee!!!!

Taking Calc I & II during the summer was a real challenge and I know that Michael missed seeing me. The courses were 4 nights a week, 2 hours each for 5 weeks each.

Now to get ready for Statistics and Linear Algebra at UT-Dallas during the fall. I am also going to try and CLEP out of Biology and I may take Microeconomics on-line.

Dad, Kristine, Mary Jean, Michael, Olivia, and I went to the Okefenokee Swamp and rented a couple of boats. We saw lots of alligators, no one got wet and we all had fun. Posted by Hello

It is Friday, our last day at Disney. :( We decided to go back to MGM to see if we could get the rest of the Incredibles to autograph Michael's book. We were successful! Mr. Incredible and ElastiGirl were there. We also rode the Star Wars ride again and one we missed the first time called The Great Movie Ride. Michael really liked it when we went by the gangsters shooting and when the boss jumped on our car and took over.

Next we headed to Downtown Disney to do some shopping. They had a lot of different stores and something for everyone. It took a lot longer than we expected but it all worked out. Then we were saying good bye to Disney and off to S. Georgia.

Today we headed to the Animal Kingdom. It was a little disappointing, but still fun. (mostly because it was small compared to the other parks. We saw the Lion King Show and the Tarzan show. We also went on a Safari and saw lots of wild animals. Towards the end, we went on a Dinosaur ride. It was the only ride so far that scared Michael. It was so jerky and jumpy and it was very dark. But after we finished, he said he would like to try it again anyway. We said we didn't have time though since we wanted to go back to the Magic Kingdom and do Splash Mountain, the Haunted Mansion again as well as a few other things like Mickey's Philharmagic 3-D show.

Today we did Epcot. We started the day with Breakfast with Chef Mickey at the Contemporary Hotel. It was fun and the buffet was good too. Then we headed to Epcot. Michael and I played a game and finished in second place (I thought my legs were going to give out). One of us had to run real fast (me) while the other jumped to avoid obstacles. After that we went to another area and built (assembled) a plastic robot that Michael really liked.

There were 2 rides that really stood out, Test Track and Soaring. In Test Track, you ride a car that simulates going through the testing phase of car development. At the end, you go around a track in excess of 70 MPH. It was cool. Soaring was a Hang Glider Simulator. You really felt like you were "soaring" over the land and it had wind and aroma effects. When you soared over an orange grove for instance, you could smell oranges.

We ended the day by walking past the different countries. It was a fun day.

Today we had breakfast with Pooh and his friends at the Magic Kingdom! The buffet was good and we saw Pooh, Eeorye, Tigger, and Piglet. After breakfast we hit the Kingdom! Michael rode his first roller coaster, later we rode Splash Mountain and he loved both of them. The three best rides (according to Michael) were, Splash Mountain, The Haunted Mansion, and the Buzz Lightyear ride. On the Buzz ride, we got to shoot Zerg and all of the bad guys. As the day wound down we were waiting for the fireworks, watching the castle change colors, when it just started to POUR down rain. We made a quick exit to the buses but still managed to get completely SOAKED! As we waited for the bus, we watched a duck walking in the road. The other buses waited for it to get out of their way. It was like it was able to just go wherever it wanted to with no fear.
